With a background in Public Relations in the political arena, Beth Schweighofer rejoined the workforce in October of 2018 after a successful career as a stay-at-home mom. Most recently, as the Community Outreach Coordinator for Hospice of the Valleys, a local non-profit hospice, she spearheaded a campaign to gain local recognition for the organization. By utilizing local chambers, networking groups, and other nonprofit programs, she was able to raise awareness about what hospice care is and how it can truly be a community resource. Through education, she was able to increase the visibility of the organization, garner donations, and plan and execute many fundraising events.

Originally from Buffalo, NY, Beth received a Bachelor of English degree from the State University of New York at Fredonia. She relocated to San Diego in 1994 to work for an environmental consulting firm as a Marketing Coordinator. In 1997, she married her husband Marc, an officer in the United States Navy, and they have one daughter, Lily. Her hobbies include reading, running and travel.
